In collaboration with Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, this project addresses two major challenges related to aging health: common, recurring infections; and the difficult to predict aging trajectories of the immune system. 

Lona Mody (Michigan Medicine), Betsy Foxman (School of Public Health) and Jenna Wiens (College of Engineering) represent the University of Michigan on the joint research team, pooling their strengths in data science, immunology, and infectious diseases.
